Arsenal announce that they have allowed striker Takuma Asano to join Stuttgart on a season-long loan deal.

Striker Takuma Asano has left Arsenal to sign a season-long loan deal with Stuttgart.

The Japanese striker only joined the Gunners earlier this summer but he has already been given the opportunity to gain regular first-team football elsewhere.

With Arsenal struggling for numbers in attack, the 21-year-old could have found himself in Arsene Wenger's plans for the new season but with the signing of Lucas Perez close to completion, Asano will acclimatise to European football away from the Emirates Stadium.

Asano has just returned from the Olympic Games where he scored two goals in three games for his national team.
