Aaron Ramsey's Arsenal exit is seemingly confirmed in a series of tweets by the agency that represents the player.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey's long-speculated exit from the club has seemingly been confirmed in a series of tweets by the agency that represents him.

The Wales international was set to become a free agent at the end of the season, although there were reports that a new deal may be confirmed before then.

Now it seems that talks have collapsed as Avid Sports & Entertainment Group appeared to confirm that their player will leave the London club in tweets that have since been deleted.

One such tweet stated that: "There is nothing we can do... the club have made a decision," while another wrote that "there is no other option [than for Ramsey to leave]".

The 27-year-old is expected to start for the Gunners on Thursday when they face Qarabag FK in the Europa League group-stage tie.
