Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Newcastle United could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Newcastle United host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, with the Magpies looking to take a huge step towards surviving relegation.

Steve Bruce revealed in his press conference on Friday that the "time is right" to hand Callum Wilson a start against the Gunners, after the England forward demonstrated that his recent hamstring injury appears to be behind him with a bright cameo in his side's 1-1 draw against Liverpool last weekend.

Wilson's potential inclusion from the start is likely to see Joelinton drop out of the side, unless Bruce elects to switch to a back four system.

Joe Willock, who scored his third goal in four matches last time out against Liverpool, is unavailable to feature against his parent club, but the Arsenal loanee has only been used from the substitutes' bench in recent times in any case.

Fabian Schar will not be considered for selection after his recent knee operation, but the Switzerland defender did play for 45 minutes in a reserve match during the week, and will hope to be involved in the first team at some point before the end of the season ahead of Euro 2020 this summer.

Ryan Fraser, Karl Darlow, Isaac Hayden and Jamaal Lascelles have all been ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

Newcastle United possible starting lineup: Dubravka; Fernandez, Clark, Dummett; Murphy, Shelvey, Longstaff, Ritchie; Almiron, Saint-Maximin; Wilson
