Martin Keown says that he is "really disappointed" with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, following the Gunners' 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in the Europa League.

Martin Keown has said that he is "really disappointed" with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, following the Gunners' 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta's side scored a late goal through Nicolas Pepe to put them 1-0 up, only for Tomas Holes to equalise for the Czech team deep into stoppage time.

Partey was substituted 13 minutes from time and Arsenal legend Keown was far from impressed by the Ghana international's performance.

Speaking to BT Sport, Keown said: "Partey, as well, tonight, was another player that really disappointed me.

"Watching it live here, and we're not getting into the stadiums that often, he didn't look like he had the legs to get around the pitch.

"He wasn't really bossing that midfield, and credit to them, by the way, Slavia Prague because they've got lots of good players and made good substitutions.

"But that's an area of the pitch that I would've thought by now, he would be bossing."

The 27-year-old joined the Gunners last summer and is yet to score in his 25 appearances for the club.
