The left-back has been out of action since last month when he underwent a hernia operation.
The 22-year-old is now back in full training and it is hoped that he will be fit in time to face Wolves at the Emirates on Boxing Day.
Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League with 29 points from 15 games.
