Arsenal opened their 2014 pre-season with a clash against Conference South side Boreham Wood on Saturday.
The Gunners dominated possession in the first period, but could not make the breakthrough against a stern Boreham defence.
Arsenal had the lead 20 minutes from time when Kristoffer Olsson finished from close range, before Benik Afobe made it 2-0 with a penalty late on.
