Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey has admitted that he wants Arsene Wenger to remain at the club following their FA Cup triumph this weekend.
The Gunners enjoyed their seventh FA Cup final victory under Wenger having beaten Chelsea on Saturday evening, amid speculation regarding the Frenchman's future role at the club following a testing season in the Premier League.
"It's been an up and down season but to finish it with an FA Cup has to be a successful season," said Ramsey, according to Wales Online.
"Of course I do [want Wenger to stay], he's been fantastic for me and fantastic for these players. He deserves this.
"We changed our formation and we've had a lot of success with him. Fair play to him, he's changed the system and it's paid off. Hopefully he'll be here next season because we owe him a lot."
Arsenal missed out on the Champions League for the first time in 21 years at the end of the 2016-17 campaign, having finished fifth in the league standings.
