A report claims that AC Milan teenager Manuel Locatelli is close to signing a new long-term contract with the Italian giants.

Italy Under-19 international Manuel Locatelli is reportedly close to signing a new deal with AC Milan.

The highly-rated teenager, who has already made two first-team appearances for the Italian giants this term, will be out of contract at the end of next season.

However, according to Tuttosport, Milan want to tie the midfielder to a long-term contract and an agreement is expected to be reached "in a matter of days".

Locatelli, who came through the youth system at Milan, has represented Italy at Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels since 2013.
