Goodwin is hoping Kyle McAllister (back) shows no reaction to a training session and that İlkay Durmus recovers from a foot injury while defender Gary MacKenzie (hamstring) remains out.
Matty Kennedy could make his Aberdeen debut after joining from St Johnstone for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old had already agreed a pre-contract to move to Pittodrie in the summer but the Dons have now secured his services with immediate effect.
