The cast of Celebs Go Dating will reportedly travel to Cyprus instead of Greece in the new series due to visa issues.

Producers of Celebs Go Dating have reportedly been forced to change plans to travel to Greece at the last moment due to work visa issues.

Filming on the new series of the E4 dating show has been underway for the last two months, with the likes of Gary Lucy, Sinitta, Pete Wicks and Liam Reardon among those taking part.

The cast were supposedly due to fly to Greece for the show's usual trip abroad next week, but The Sun says that plans have been hurriedly changed for them to visit Cyprus instead.

A source told the newspaper: "At the last moment it was called off because of issues with work visas and the amount of time it was going to take to have them processed.

"There was no way the show could go ahead without the trip abroad so the team worked tirelessly to make it happen.

"This series of Celebs Go Dating has gone off without a hitch so there was no way they were letting the visa issues stop them.

"Instead the stars will be flown out for filming in Cyprus now. It is going to be really special."

The new series begins on E4 in January.
