Netflix has announced details of 25 new shows from South Korea that are due for release over the next 12 months.
The streaming service is responding to heightened consumer interest in Korean fare with significant investment in new productions, committing to a spend of $500m (£367m) in 2021 alone.
Late last year Squid Game became Netflix's most successful show ever - and that was followed up by strong viewership for supernatural series Hellbound and sci-fi mystery The Silent Sea.
Next week the streamer launches All of Us Are Dead, a zombie series set in a Korean high school, while other upcoming releases include a Korean version of Money Heist and a film following a special ops team at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games called Seoul Vibe.
Don Kang, Netflix's vp of content in Korea, said: "We believe this is a slate that showcases more of the inventive and gripping Korean storytelling that the world has come to love.
"To do that, we will continue to invest in Korea's creative ecosystem and, together, we will keep on showing the world that 'Made in Korea' means 'Well-Made'.
"This year, we look forward to the new conversations that will be sparked by a new wave of stories, as we help Korean content find homes in the hearts and minds of our global audience."
Netflix is also believed to be in the process of negotiating a deal for two further seasons of Squid Game.
