Miranda Hart has suggested that she is open to the idea of resurrecting Miranda for new episodes in the future.
The sitcom, which starred Hart as an exaggerated version of herself, ran on the BBC for three series and two specials between 2009 and 2015.
After the final episode aired, Hart ruled out the show ever coming back but in a new interview she has admitted that her stance has softened.
"I think when you create characters like that, that you've lived with for a long time, they do become part of you," she told Gaby Roslin on her podcast.
"I do think of them from time to time, a bit like you would a friend that you haven't seen for a while, 'Oh, what would they be up to...'
"And so I've definitely had some thoughts of where they might be and what would happen with them all.
"The circumstances haven't quite aligned. But it is something that I would say that I'm now not ruling out.
"Whereas a couple of years after it had finished, I completely ended it and that was that."
A US version of the show, Call Me Kat, premiered on FOX earlier this year and has since been renewed for a second season.
