Gordon Ramsay reportedly teams up with Marco Pierre White for a UK version of his new format Next Level Chef.

Gordon Ramsay has reportedly enlisted Marco Pierre White to appear with him on a UK version of his new reality format Next Level Chef.

Pierre White, 59, served as Ramsay's mentor early in his career - famously making him cry when he was a young chef - but the pair fell out over 20 years ago and have not seen eye to eye since.

According to The Sun, however, Ramsay and Pierre White have now resolved their differences and will appear on TV together for the first time in a UK version of Next Level Chef.

The show will see budding chefs living in a three-storey penthouse, with kitchens on each floor ranging from bare bones to top-of-the range.

"It's a massively exciting project - and the most unexpected, but ingenious, partnership," a source told the newspaper.

"Gordon recently finished filming the first series for Fox in the US, and there's been unprecedented levels of interest with both BBC and ITV.

"Gordon tentatively reached out to Marco in lockdown, apologised for his part in their feud, and the pair have been speaking regularly.

"Marco has agreed to get on board, and everyone is raring to go."

The US version - due to air in 2022 - features Ramsay appearing alongside Gino D'Acampo.
