GB News signs up Boris Johnson's ex-comms chief
GB News announces that Guto Harri, former communications chief to Boris Johnson, will present a weekly show on the channel.

GB News has announced that Guto Harri, former communications chief to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, will host a new weekly show on the channel.

The new station is now less than two weeks away from its launch, which has been set for Sunday, June 13 at 8pm with a programme hosted by channel chairman Andrew Neil.

Harri, who worked with Johnson during his time as London mayor, is a veteran journalist and previously spent 18 years at the BBC, while he has also worked for Sky, CNN and LBC.

"GB News is pioneering a new way in television news and debate with an energy and feistiness that really appeals to me," he said.

"Most importantly the channel is determined to reflect as well as respect the range of views of its audience across the UK."

Harri, a native Welsh speaker, will continue to present his current affairs show for S4C alongside his new role with GB News.
