ITV is reportedly developing a new quiz show format inspired by the success of The Traitors.
Called Trivial Deceit, the format involves contestants answering a series of trivia questions, attempting to convince their rivals that they have the right answer even if they don't know it.
"Treachery is now a buzzword among TV execs, thanks to The Traitors," a source told The Sun.
"They're looking for almost any way to incorporate it into a format - and it was only a matter of time before a quiz took it on.
"Trivial Deceit is only at the pilot stage, but if it progresses it could be on screens next year."
ITV has also been developing a similar format, The Imposter, with Robert Rinder as host.
