Katie Price is ordered to complete community service and pay a fine after admitting to a breach of a restraining order.

Katie Price avoided jail today after admitting to breaching a restraining order in relation to the fiancée of her ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

The 44-year-old sent Hayler text messages in which she referred to Michelle Penticost as a "gutter slag" and a "piece of shit" - violating a five-year restraining order issued in 2019.

Price could have been sentenced to five years in prison at Lewes Magistrates' Court today but instead was given an 18-month community order, 170 hours of unpaid work and a £1,500 fine.

A spokesperson for Hayler and Penticost said afterwards: "We are incredibly disappointed with the result of today's court hearing.

"We feel a custodial sentence would have sent the right message to the public given the seriousness of Miss Price's offending."

Price is now said to be jetting off on holiday with fiancé Carl Woods following the verdict.
