Brad McClelland says that he is unsure whether he will pick things up with Lucinda Strafford once Love Island is over.

Latest Love Island dumpee Brad McClelland has admitted slight regret that he walked out of the villa solo on last night's show.

After the latest round of viewer voting, Brad and partner Lucinda Strafford found themselves bottom of the compatibility rankings and had to decide between themselves which one of them - or both - would leave the show.

Brad was quick to offer himself up as a sacrificial lamb, and after a brief period of debating whether to join him, Lucinda decided to stay and continue on with the experience.

Speaking after leaving the villa, he said: "For me, straight off, I said 'I'll leave'. I'm kind of hoping [Lucinda] doesn't find love in there, because maybe we can carry on from where we left off.

"I had a bit more time than her, so going off time alone it's only fair that she got her fair shot at it.

"The way we had a connection, it would be really nice to take what we had and continue it on the outside.

"I woke up this morning and I wish we had left together. I want to see where that could have went. Not being able to speak to Cind, or ask her where she's at, I want to know how she's woke up this morning."

Despite Brad having only just left the villa, in tonight's episode one of the other boys will be seen putting the moves on newly-single Lucinda.

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2.
