Filming on Killing Eve's final series is paused for two days following a mini coronavirus outbreak on set.

Filming on the fourth and final series of Killing Eve was halted for two days earlier this month following a mini coronavirus outbreak on set.

The thriller drama, which stars Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh, will return for one last instalment in 2022 - almost two years after the third series ended with Eve and Villanelle vowing never to see each other again.

Filming on the final batch of episodes has been underway since early June but production was forced to stop for two days "after a positive test among members of the cast and crew".

A show spokesperson told The Sun: "In compliance with government guidelines, production paused on Killing Eve series four for two days. Filming has now resumed."

Although the identities of those who caught coronavirus have not been revealed, the newspaper confirmed that Comer and Oh were not among those who tested positive.
