Medic Bob will not return for this year's edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, it has been confirmed.
The 72-year-old - full name Bob McCarron - has been with the show since the very first series in 2002 and is often seen on screen coming to the aid of celebrities after challenges or if they suffer a medical event.
Memorably he was brought in live on air during an episode in 2010 in which Gillian McKeith appeared to faint as she prepared to take on a Bush Tucker trial.
Confirming his exit ahead of the 2022 edition - the first back in Australia since 2019 - an ITV spokesperson said: "Bob will always be a friend to the show.
"We wish him all the very best and thank him for his hard work."
Bob is expected to continue his role on the German version of the show, where he is known to viewers as simply "Dr Bob".
