View profiles of the 12 contestants taking part in Channel 4's new reality series The Bridge.

Twelve strangers come together for a challenge of epic proportions in new reality series The Bridge, launching on Channel 4 tonight.

Having gathered on the banks of a lake in the middle of the British countryside, the group learns that a cash prize of £100,000 lies on an island 850ft away - and they must work together to build a bridge to get the cash.

Of course it's not as simple as that and over the course of the 20-day project they will be thrown a number of curveballs that offer a test of their individual morals and ability to work as a team.
