Paul makes a huge mistake

The chilli-eating competition is a roaring success at the Bistro and Paul is touched when they manage to raise £800.

Paul seeks refuge at a hotel bar and bumps into Zac, a blast from the past, and offers to buy him a drink.

Paul wakes up in the hotel room with a huge hangover and suddenly realises that Zac has nicked the £800 charity money. He returns home and initially makes out as if he slept on a friend's sofa but then comes clean and admits to what he did with Zac, leaving Billy appalled.

Ryan takes a knockback

Ryan admits to Carla that he's not sure if he's up to returning to work yet, but he later decides to ask Leanne if he can start back at the Bistro.

At the Bistro, when a customer complains about Ryan's scars, Leanne hits back and defends him as a hero. Unfortunately Ryan hears the end of the conversation and quickly leaves.

Stephen enacts his plan

After Carla demands a meeting with Seagull Ltd, Stephen ropes in ex-wife Gabrielle to pose as a company consultant over Zoom. Gabrielle does an excellent job of convincing Carla, but suddenly Sarah returns to the office to collect her laptop...

Stephen arranges for Elaine and Audrey to meet with a personal shopper to get wedding outfits, but when they return, Tim makes it clear that he doesn't want to go to the wedding. Stephen encourages Elaine to write a letter to her son explaining how much he's hurt her.

Adam admits to Daniel that he's struggling to trust Sarah and is suspicious of her spending so much time with Owen.
