AJ Odudu and Will Best have reportedly landed the job of hosting ITV2's upcoming Big Brother reboot.

AJ Odudu and Will Best are reportedly on the verge of being named as the new Big Brother hosts by ITV.

The iconic reality show is making a return on ITV2 and ITVX for a new six-week series later this year, five years after it was dropped by Channel 5.

The likes of Rylan Clark, Alison Hammond and Roman Kemp were all linked with the hosting job but The Sun says that ITV has now settled on a dual pairing of Odudu and Best.

"AJ has known since last year the Big Brother job was hers but she's been waiting for her co-host to be confirmed," a source told the newspaper.

"AJ and Will did a brilliant screen test together and their chemistry was brilliant. It was a no brainer. They are great friends too so to be able to work together is really exciting.

"They could not be more excited about joining forces to bring back Big Brother.

"AJ and Will are going to be formally announced by ITV really soon and they can't wait to get stuck in."

Davina McCall was the original host of Big Brother in its Channel 4 days, after which Brian Dowling, then later Emma Willis, took over.
