Mark Shoemaker and Nikki Shoemaker, who appeared on the third season of 90 Day Fiance, are to divorce.

90 Day Fiance couple Mark Shoemaker and wife Nikki Shoemaker are divorcing after six years of marriage.

The pair appeared in the third season of the hit show, which aired in 2015 and followed then-19-year-old Nikki as she travelled from the Philippines on a K-1 visa to get married to Mark, then aged 58.

The considerable age gap - Nikki was several years younger than Mark's youngest daughter - proved to be a recurring issue during their 90 days, as well as Mark's insistence on her signing a pre-nup, but they went on to get married before the visa expired.

According to E! News, court documents show that Mark filed for divorce at the Baltimore County Circuit Court on March 2.

The pair have largely kept their relationship private since their season of 90 Day Fiance aired and no reason is yet known for their split.
