The 76ers ran away with the game in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Raptors 27-14, and MVP candidate Embiid hitting two free throws and a three-pointer in the final quarter.
Jimmy Butler was in equally-fine form, finishing just shy of a triple-double with 22 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.
Kawhi Leonard matched Embiid with a top score of 33 points for the Raptors but will no doubt be hoping to get the better of his rival when the 76ers host game four on Sunday night.
