The San Antonio Spurs took their NBA play-off series against the Denver Nuggets to game seven with a 120-103 win on Thursday night despite 43 points from Nikola Jokic.
Spurs duo LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan scored 26 and 25 points respectively to ensure the first-round series went the distance.

The pair linked up well as San Antonio started strongly, leading 34-24 after the first quarter as Denver missed all seven of their three-point attempts.
Jokic led the comeback attempt with 27 second-half points, including 17 in the third quarter. He posted the third-highest points total of the post-season and added 12 rebounds and nine assists, narrowly failing to emulate his triple-double in game .
But the Spurs pulled clear once more in the fourth quarter, DeRozan scoring six of their 30 points as they closed out victory.

The Nuggets will host game seven on Saturday, with the Portland Trail Blazers awaiting the winners.
