Result: Anastasiia Baryshnikova wins taekwondo gold for Russian Federation

The Russian Federation's Anastasiia Baryshnikova beats Azerbaijan's Farida Azizova in the final of the women's 67kg at the European Games.

The Russian Federation have won their 22nd gold of the European Games, thanks to Anastasiia Baryshnikova's taekwondo success in the women's 67kg at the European Games.

The 24-year-old hung on to beat Azerbaijan's Farida Azizova 6-5 after she claimed a late point in round three.

Azizova trailed 5-2 prior to the final round, but she attacked and levelled the scores early in the round before falling to a slender defeat.

Turkey's Nur Tata and Sweden's Elin Johansson earlier won bronze.
