Hull Kingston Rovers prop forward James Green has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2016 season after dislocating his AC joint when the Rovers lost to Leeds in July.
The 25-year old has had successful surgery and will now begin his recovery from the shoulder injury with his club's medical staff.
Green has made 20 appearances this year and a total of 81 appearances overall for Hull KR, who finished second from bottom in the Super League this year.
The club will begin their qualifiers on Sunday as they face Batley Bulldogs at home.
