Iain Dowie gets new regional sales manager job outside of football

Former Northern Ireland striker and Coventry City manager Iain Dowie takes on a new role of regional sales manager for a surveying company.

Former Crystal Palace and Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has landed a new job outside the world of football.

The 51-year-old has taken up the role of regional sales manager for Go To Surveys.

His profile on the company's website reads: "Having experienced the excitement of playing international football and managing at a high level, Iain is equally excited to be joining the innovative and dynamic GOTO group.'

Dowie was a striker during his playing days and earned 59 caps for Northern Ireland before going on to manage six clubs between 1998 and 2008.
