Lewis Hamilton: 'World title win is ultimate dream'

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton says that it is the "ultimate dream" to win the Formula 1 world championship for the second time.

Lewis Hamilton has said that it is the "ultimate dream" to win the Formula 1 world championship for a second time.

The Mercedes driver came out on top at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday to clinch the title.

Hamilton says that he feels proud to now be part of British racing history.

"It's the ultimate dream, winning the world championship, with people putting my name alongside Jackie Stewart, Stirling Moss, all these legends of the sport," he told BBC Sport.

"Waving that flag was the proudest moment a sportsman can have."

Hamilton's first title came in 2008 when driving for McLaren.
