Mark Noble is one of three players to make way for West Ham United following last week's first-leg draw with Astra Giurgiu in the Europa League.

Mark Noble has been left out of West Ham United's squad for this evening's Europa League playoff second-leg tie against Astra Giurgiu.

The Hammers welcome the Romanian side to the Olympic Stadium sitting on a 1-1 draw from last week's opener, which saw Noble score from the penalty spot to open the scoring.

Noble is the highest-profile of eight players to make way from the side which beat Bournemouth here in the Premier League four days ago, with the Englishman instead being rested ahead of the trip to Manchester City next weekend.

It is just three changes in all from last week's first leg, meanwhile, with United knowing that a goalless draw will be enough to see them through to the group stages of the competition.

The visitors are boosted by the return of Denis Alibec up top, meanwhile - the scorer of their late leveller at the Stadionul Marin Anastasovici.

Astra boss Marius Sumudica, the subject of a domestic ban for betting offences, also includes Alexandru Ionita in his starting lineup - a player who caused the Hammers' defence a number of problems seven days ago.

West Ham United: Randolph, Byram, Reid, Ogbonna, Burke, Nordtveit, Tore, Obiang, Kouyate, Antonio, Calleri
Subs: Adrian, Collins, Oxford, Browne, Diangana, Valencia, Fletcher

Astra Giurgu: Lung, Alves, Fabricio, Seto, Alibec, Morais, Lovin, Niculae, Sapunaru, Ionita, Teixeira
