West Ham United captain Mark Noble hails a "massive" week for his side as they claim seven points in seven days.

West Ham United captain Mark Noble has described his side's performance as "fantastic" after they claimed a 1-0 victory over Hull City this afternoon to cap a productive seven days.

The 29-year-old was on hand to help his side to all three points in a 1-0 victory for the second successive game, just three days after their win over Burnley at the London Stadium.

Combined with a 2-2 draw at title-chasing Liverpool last Sunday, the Hammers have now taken seven points in as many days to move clear of the relegation scrap.

"Seven points in a week is massive for us. Two clean sheets at home is fantastic. They were not the best performances but these are the games that you have to win," Noble told reporters. "Hull and Burnley are the most honest, hard-working teams in the league and we competed and kept a clean sheet.

"In the position we are in winning is all that matters. Results breed confidence and hopefully that is starting to happen. We have to win games and put the pressure on the other clubs.

"We have nine days now until our next game. Hopefully we can go away to Swansea and get more points. I would have snapped your hands off for seven points this week. We can look forward now."

West Ham next travel to Swansea City on Boxing Day ahead of a trip to champions Leicester City on New Year's Eve.
