West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic believes that Andy Carroll's 10-minute hat-trick against Arsenal has catapulted him back into the England reckoning.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has claimed that Andy Carroll is now in the reckoning to be part of England's squad for Euro 2016 after his 10-minute hat-trick against Arsenal yesterday.

The powerful striker netted three goals either side of half time in just under 10 minutes to turn the Premier League contest on its head before Arsenal hit back to earn a 3-3 draw at the Boleyn Ground.

Bilic believes that Carroll, along with teammates Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell, should be considered for a Three Lions call-up by Roy Hodgson.

"I've said my opinion about a few of our players." PA quotes Bilic as saying.

"Mark Noble, Aaron Cresswell, and Andy Carroll is definitely in the category that he has to make you think about him because there are not many players capable of doing what he is doing. But it's Roy's decision.

"His problem is not consistency in terms of little injuries. A lad who is six foot whatever and with so many kilos - he needs to be fit. Now he is fit we hope he is going to last like this for years."

Carroll, 27, was involved in Hodgson's squad at the last European Championships in Poland and Ukraine in 2012 and opened the scoring in the victory over Sweden in the group stage.
