Hearts midfielder and Belgium youth international Arnaud Djoum signs a three-year contract extension at Tynecastle until May 2019.

Hearts midfielder Arnaud Djoum has signed a contract extension at Tynecastle until May 2019.

The 27-year-old moved to the Edinburgh club in September last year, scoring seven goals in 36 appearances as the Jambos finished third in the Scottish Premiership.

"Arnaud has been immense for us since joining last season," Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson told the club's official website.

"We were lucky to get him in the first place, to be honest. He's a real talent with great technique and vision."

Djoum was born in Cameroon but has represented Belgium at Under-19 and Under-20 level.
