Davinson Sanchez's agent confirms that he has held talks with Sevilla over a possible summer switch for the Tottenham Hotspur man.

The agent of Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez has confirmed that talks have been held with Sevilla amid speculation surrounding an exit from North London for the South American.

Spurs have supposedly told the Colombia international that they will entertain offers for him this summer, and he has been linked with a move to Atalanta BC as part of a deal for Cristian Romero.

However, Sevilla are expected to wave goodbye to Jules Kounde this summer, and Sanchez's agent Nestor Villarreal has revealed that while rumours of a part-exchange deal are wide of the mark, contact has been made with the Spanish side.

Speaking to Caracol Radio, Villarreal said: "They are just rumours. Yes, I have spoken to the people of Sevilla, but at the moment, they have a full squad. If a transfer happens on their part, those rumours could be true, but concretely there is nothing, only talks."

Spurs have already seen Toby Alderweireld head for the exit door to sign for Qatari side Al-Duhail, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side are thought to have tabled a £43m offer to Atalanta for Romero.

Sanchez featured on seven occasions for Colombia at the Copa America but only started 17 Premier League games for Tottenham last season.
