Harry Redknapp doesn't hold Tottenham Hotspur grudge

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp feels that all sides have moved on following his acrimonious departure from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has insisted that he doesn't hold a grudge against Tottenham Hotspur following his dismissal by the club two years ago.

The 67-year-old guided Spurs to the Champions League where they reached the quarter-finals under his tenure, and were only stopped from reaching Europe's elite competition for successive seasons by Chelsea's triumph in the tournament in 2012.

Redknapp was replaced at White Hart Lane by Andre Villas-Boas, who was sacked himself after struggling to match the achievements of Redknapp.

He told reporters: "Nobody has ever told me why Tottenham let me go. I know the reason, but I don't want to repeat it.

"Whether it was the chairman Daniel Levy or whoever, they made the decision and we live with it.

"I didn't go home, turn the lights off and stay in bed all day. I got up and went to play golf. When you wake up and the doctor says you've got cancer, then you've got something to worry about, but I had a great time at Tottenham and life goes on."

QPR face Tottenham in their Premier League clash at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
