Seattle Sounders snap up Roman Torres

Seattle Sounders sign Panama international defender Roman Torres from Millonarios.

Panamanian central defender Roman Torres has completed a move to Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders.

The 29-year-old, who made his international debut in 2005, has 91 caps and nine goals for his country.

Torres has joined the Sounders from Colombian side Millonarios, and is the third new arrival at CenturyLink Field in the last week following Paraguayan striker Nelson Valdez and Austrian midfielder Andreas Ivanschitz.

His previous clubs include La Equidad, Atletico Junior and Atletico Nacional.
