Millwall striker Andy Keogh receives a call-up for the Republic of Ireland squad as Giovanni Trapattini makes changes to his side.

Millwall forward Andy Keogh has been given a late call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their World Cup qualifying matches against Sweden and Austria.

The striker was not selected in Giovanni Trapattini's provisional 29-man squad, although injuries to Aiden McGeady, Paul McShane and Anthony Pilkington have forced the changes.

As well as the 26-year-old being brought into the squad, the likes of Joey O'Brien, Alex Pearce, Stephen Ward and Kevin Doyle have been relegated to standby duty.

Keogh will join up with the 23-man squad in Malahide today ahead of next week's games.
