Isco believes that his decision to reject "serious offers" from Premier League clubs has been justified due to the number of major honours won at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has insisted that he has "never thought about going to England", despite being repeatedly linked with Manchester City and Manchester United.

The Spain international is gearing up for this weekend's Champions League final against Liverpool - his fourth in five years - which he has been tipped to start just behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Isco, most recently touted with a move to Man City in March, believes that his decision to stay at the Bernabeu has been justified by the amount of silverware earned in recent years.

"I have never thought about going to England," he told reporters ahead of Saturday's match in Kiev. "There's been serious offers but I've never come early close to moving to the Premier League.

"But I think I made the right choice to stay; my Champions League medals prove that. Playing so many finals is unthinkable and it's because of the work we do every season.

"When I arrived at Madrid I thought that I would play a Champions League final but it has been four in five years. I don't settle for anything or look at what I've won before, because it would make me a worse player. It would be a dream to win my fourth Champions League."

Isco has featured in 10 of Madrid's 12 Champions League matches so far this season.
