The Portuguese forward was taken off in Los Blancos' 2-2 draw at Las Palmas last weekend, leading to speculation that he was either injured or had clashed with his boss.
Meanwhile, Casemiro and Marcelo have both been ruled out for the visitors, but Pepe and Fabio Coentrao are available after shaking off knocks and take their place on the substitutes' bench.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marc Bartra, Andre Schurrle, Adrian Ramos have all be confirmed as available for Dortmund after injury scares.
