Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how the Netherlands could line up for their Euro 2020 last-16 clash against the Czech Republic on Sunday.

Netherlands manager Frank de Boer will have to work around the absence of Luuk de Jong for his side's remaining Euro 2020 matches, starting with Sunday's last-16 battle against the Czech Republic.

The Sevilla striker will not feature again in this summer's tournament after sustaining a knee injury in training, but he only played 10 minutes across three group stage games and was never likely to come into contention for a start here.

Memphis Depay's opener against North Macedonia was his 13th goal contribution in his last 10 games for the Netherlands and he will reprise his regular role here, but De Boer must choose between Wout Weghorst and Donyell Malen to partner the soon-to-be Barcelona man.

Malen was given the nod against North Macedonia, but the physical Weghorst could be preferred in a game of this nature, while Georginio Wijnaldum will once again line up just behind the attacking duo after his brace last time out.

Teenage protege Ryan Gravenberch is expected to drop out of the midfield as Marten de Roon returns to the fold, with the Atalanta BC man missing out against North Macedonia in order to avoid any risks of a suspension here.

There should be no surprises in the back three as Stefan de Vrij, Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind prepare to shield 38-year-old Maarten Stekelenburg, who is taking full advantage of Jasper Cillessen's enforced absence.

Netherlands possible starting lineup: Stekelenburg; De Vrij, Blind, De Ligt; Dumfries, De Jong, De Roon, Van Aanholt; Wijnaldum; Depay, Weghorst
