Former defender Lauren claims that Arsenal should look to secure a reunion with Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez.

Former defender Lauren has called on Arsenal to try to re-sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United.

Sanchez, who left the Gunners to move to Old Trafford in January 2018, is expected to move on this summer after a dismal spell at the club.

The forward has been linked with a switch to Serie A, although Lauren has suggested that the 30-year-old would be welcomed back at the Emirates Stadium.

The Cameroonian told AmericanGambler.com: "Sanchez is a top player and top players are always welcome at Arsenal. If Emery could get him back mentally because it has been a while without him playing, then he could be a good addition.

"It depends if he is the kind of player that Unai would enjoy having at Arsenal."

Sanchez netted 80 goals from 166 appearances during his three-and-a-half-year spell in North London.
