Phil Neville hails Jose Mourinho appointment

Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville welcomes former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to Old Trafford.

Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville has taken to Twitter to reveal his delight after Jose Mourinho was officially appointed as the new manager of the 20-time English champions.

Following a week of intense speculation, Mourinho has put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Old Trafford.

Neville, who recently left his assistant manager role at Valencia, has made his feelings on Mourinho known with a post on social media.

Neville's former teammate Paul Scholes has also commented on Mourinho's arrival at Old Trafford.
