Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that Donny van de Beek will "get his games" after being left on the bench against Chelsea.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that Donny van de Beek will "get his games" for the Red Devils in the coming weeks.

The Netherlands international was an unused substitute during Saturday's goalless draw with Chelsea, and he is yet to start a Premier League game since arriving from Ajax over the summer.

When questioned on the 23-year-old after the 0-0 draw with Frank Lampard's side, Solskjaer offered reassurance to the Dutchman ahead of a busy run of matches.

"Don't worry about that. He'll get his games. It is easy to say who should be playing and more difficult to say who shouldn't," the United manager told Sky Sports News.

Van de Beek has scored once and provided one assist in seven appearances for the 20-time English champions but has thus far been unable to command a starting role.

United will be looking to make it back-to-back wins at the start of their 2020-21 Champions League campaign when they welcome RB Leipzig to Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
