Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic pokes fun at the mystery surrounding Jose Mourinho's note during Sunday's win over Chelsea.

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has opened up about the mystery surrounding Jose Mourinho's mid-match note against Chelsea.

TV cameras picked up footage of Eric Bailly handing a piece of paper to Matic after coming on as a substitute in the closing stages of Sunday's 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Willian, who scored the opening goal for Antonio Conte's side, tried to sneakily read the note, and until now Mourinho's written instruction has been kept a secret.

On Instagram, Matic posted an image of a note that read, 'You have 3 days off', but it is more than likely that the Serbian's social media post was uploaded in jest.
