Retired sprinter Usain Bolt has claimed that Manchester United are "boring" under head coach Jose Mourinho.

The world's fastest man, who is a fan of United, is currently gearing up for this weekend's Soccer Aid match, while he made his debut for Norwegian side Stromsgodset on Tuesday.

Bolt has said that the Red Devils "started off well" last season, but the 31-year-old was ultimately left underwhelmed by the team's brand of football under Mourinho.

"We started off well but then we got boring after a while," the legendary Jamaican told Goal.com. "I didn't like that because I'm used to Manchester United being an attacking team."

United finished second in the Premier League table last season, but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup.

Bolt is currently trying to forge a career in professional football following his retirement from athletics.
