Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that no decision has been made on whether Marcus Rashford will undergo shoulder surgery.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that no decision has been made on whether Marcus Rashford will undergo a shoulder operation this summer.

Widespread reports claimed that the England international would undergo surgery at the end of July on a shoulder problem that has been troubling him for a long period of time.

However, Solskjaer has said that there has not yet been a final call on the best treatment for the 23-year-old, who made five substitute appearances for his country at Euro 2020.

"No, we're looking at the best options. Of course, he went away just to reflect on it a little bit. We have to take the best course of action for him and the club. We're still addressing that with the experts," Solskjaer told reporters.

Rashford scored 21 times and registered 15 assists in 57 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2020-21 campaign.

Any operation would likely keep the attacker on the sidelines for 12 weeks, making him unavailable for selection until at least October.
