Chris Smalling has paid tribute to his Manchester United teammates after the Red Devils booked their spot in the last-32 stage of the Europa League with a 2-0 win over Zorya Luhansk.
Jose Mourinho's side needed only one point to be sure of a spot in the next round, but goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic secured all three in Odessa.
Smalling, who is currently nursing a broken toe, took to Twitter shortly after the Zorya match to congratulate his teammates on securing progression.
Well done boys! Great goals and bring on the next round 👌🏽@ManUtd #mufc pic.twitter.com/ZkiztlveKz

Smalling is also expected to sit out Sunday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur as he struggles to overcome the problem that he picked up last month.
