Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah insists that his team's fans do not need to 'panic' during spells of matches.

Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has insisted that his club's supporters do not need to 'panic' during certain matches as the team now "have more experience" to see games out.

Salah scored twice as Jurgen Klopp's side recorded a 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday afternoon.

The Egyptian's second of the match did not arrive until the final minute, though, and Watford had threatened to pull themselves back into the contest during the second period.

The attacker has claimed that his club's fans can "get panicky a little bit", but the 27-year-old is confident that the Reds are capable of picking up wins even if they do not score more than one goal.

"I think now we have more experience,' Salah told BT Sport. "We played together for three or four years, we know when we can make the game fast. The crowd, they get panicky a little bit, but we have experience, we've won a few games 1-0, so it's fine."

Liverpool's win, coupled with Leicester City's home draw against Norwich City, means that the European champions are now 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
