Trent Alexander-Arnold calls on his Liverpool teammates to not let up with the club's impressive Premier League winning streak.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has called on his Liverpool teammates to maintain the club's impressive winning streak in the Premier League for as long as possible.

The 20-year-old scored Liverpool's opening goal from a well-rehearsed free-kick routine during a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's men have now won 15 consecutive Premier League fixtures and remain five points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League table.

Speaking to the club's official website soon after the game, Alexander-Arnold said: "We are just trying to stay as fit as possible and be as relentless as possible to carry on winning and competing on all fronts.

"It's all about the mentality of the team.

"Obviously 15 wins in a row is something to be proud of, but we know we need to keep on going and keep pushing ourselves even further."

Alexander-Arnold made his debut for the Reds in October 2016 and has since become an indispensable part of Klopp's setup at Anfield.

The youngster, whose quick corner to Divock Origi took Liverpool to the Champions League final, looks likely to be rested for the club's EFL Cup meeting with MK Dons on Wednesday night.
