How Juventus could line up against Inter Milan

Ahead of Sunday's Serie A showdown between Juventus and Inter Milan, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up in Turin.

Juventus head into Sunday's Serie A showdown with Inter Milan knowing that three points against their rivals could prove decisive in the title race.

While Inter have a game in hand on their hosts, Juventus will move nine points clear of Antonio Conte's team should they produce a positive response to losing to Lyon in the Champions League.

However, as a result on the ongoing threat of the coronavirus, this weekend's fixture will be played behind closed doors.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Maurizio Sarri's team could line up for the game in Turin.

Doubtful: Douglas Costa (biceps)

After failing to trouble the scoresheet in France, Sarri may opt for a change in system, reverting to a diamond system which he has used in the past.

That could result in a recall for Aaron Ramsey, who may be used behind a front pairing of Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Having been named as a substitute in his homeland, Blaise Matuidi is pushing for a start ahead of compatriot Adrien Rabiot.

A change in system could lead to Juan Cuadrado switching from a wide midfield role to right-back in place of Danilo.

Giorgio Chiellini is also pushing for an appearance in the centre of defence after missing out on an outing in Europe.

That would likely see Matthijs de Ligt only feature among the replacements, joining the likes of Federico Bernardeschi and Gonzalo Higuain.
